My Journey
Early Beginnings
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Jay Gallant discovered his love for music at a young age. His journey began at just three years old when he started making up songs and dancing around the house. His parents quickly noticed his natural talent for performing and enrolled him in hip-hop dance lessons, where he later became part of a street dancing group. By fourth grade, Jay decided he wanted to sing in his school’s talent show, performing September by Earth, Wind & Fire. This performance caught the attention of his parents, who had him evaluated by a professional vocal coach. The coach confirmed Jay’s extraordinary talent, and from there, his musical journey was just beginning.
Passion for Music & Dance
Jay’s artistic journey extends beyond singing and songwriting—he is also an accomplished dancer. He started with hip-hop classes at a local dance studio and later joined a street dancing group. Alongside refining his moves under the guidance of a well-known dance mentor, Jay enjoys making beats, adding another layer to his artistry. His unique combination of vocal ability, production skills, and dynamic stage presence makes him a well-rounded performer poised for success in the music industry.
The Rise of Jay Gallant
At just twelve years old, Jay released his debut single Fool for You in 2022, which quickly gained the attention of music industry veterans, including Al B. Sure! This success led to Jay being invited to perform at a major city showcase where he caught the eye of other industry professionals, including Grammy-winning former Blackstreet member J-Stylz, who has been working closely with Jay for the past few years. Throughout this journey, Jay has also collaborated with renowned producers, including Brookz from FWM Group in South Carolina, who has been helping him work on a music project.
Jay has done modeling for local businesses, acted, and has experience both on stage and in front of the camera. He performed in an urban stage play at Greenville’s Gunter Theatre at the Peace Center, played an extra in Mr. Mercedes at age 6, and is currently filming for a summer thriller set to release soon. More global film opportunities are on the way.
Jay’s next big release is his next single Green Light, set to drop on April 11, 2025, which is expected to really solidify his presence in the music industry.

Despite his growing success, Jay remains humble, balancing his career with his education through virtual homeschooling, as well as lessons in piano, boxing, and ongoing vocal training. His dedication to improving himself as a performer and musician makes him one of the most exciting young talents in the music industry.
